I'm sixteen and a junior in high school. I've been into photography for around 5 years. I'm mostly self taught, though I am taking summer photography classes at the local college to start on my degree early.

I made it into the college art fair!

My mother emailed a woman to figure out what was going on after the art fair was delayed. She asked if either of us had made it and this is what the woman had to say:
"Yes, she got into the show with a Silver award. this means they liked all of her work enough to give it a silver and then they chose one from the set to represent her work. The description I have written down is "Lady Bug"
Tell her I said great Job! Kimberly"
Pretty proud. :)

She leaves the day after tomorrow. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. Eleven days is just long enough to forget what you would normally do with yourself.
Probably smoke a lot of weed and cry. And then make art because that is what I do. Maybe play the $50 worth of video games she bought me at the video game place down the road. Probably.
